Rdio – MOTÖRHEAD And SLAYER Offer Exclusive Playlists For Streaming Music Service

Streaming music service Rdio has rolled out exclusive playlists from two legendary rock acts this week with Motörhead offering Songs For Overnight Road Trips and Slayer’s Kerry King curating a list of “Bands I Wish I Was In As A Teenager.
Described as ditties that “make the time pass a little more easily,” Motörhead put together Songs For Overnight Road Trips - ten songs that are part of their soundtrack of four decades on the road. In a genre- and era-spanning collection, the band includes artists from Little Richard to Creedence Clearwater Revival to Carrie Underwood (and a couple of their own classics) in a playlist perfect for late night drives.
For his playlist, thrash metal icon Kerry King created his very own collection of bands he idolized before paving his own way to rock stardom. Some of these bands he wishes he was in as a teenager include Deep Purple, Van Halen, Iron Maiden and AC/DC.
