Soundgarden performed 'Been Away Too Long', as well as their 1991 hit 'Rusty Cage', on BBC's Later... With Jools Holland on Tuesday, November 6th. Footage can be seen below:

Soundgarden will release King Animal, their first new studio album in over 15 years, on November 13th in Canada via Vertigo Records/Universal Music Canada and in the US via Universal Republic. The album will be released a day earlier in Europe. King Animal is streaming in its entirety on iTunes now here.

Deluxe versions of King Animal include a box set, a deluxe CD, iTunes deluxe and 180 gram double vinyl. Many of the deluxe editions include album track demos recorded in Chris Cornell’s home studio.

Soundgarden have announced their Winter 2013 North American tour dates, including two-night engagements in New York City, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and, for the first time since the band reunited, in their hometown of Seattle. Fan Club pre-sales begin on Monday, November 12th and tickets go on-sale to the public starting on Friday, November 16th.

The band has announced a commemorative poster art design contest for the tour, asking fans to use the album title as the theme to create a ferocious and primal design that embodies the untamed disposition of a King Animal."The deadline for submission is December 21st.
