THE SHRINE Release New Music Video For “Acid Drop”

Venice Beach, CA's purveyors of psychedelic violence, The Shrine, have released a new music video for “Acid Drop”, filmed on 16mm live at their raucous Rare Breed album release party in Los Angeles in early 2016 with special guest Nik Turner of Hawkwind fame. You can watch the video below:

Now, the band have announced their follow up to that event, which will take place at The Roxy in Hollywood on Sunday, October 30th: dubbed the House Of Horror with co-headliners Ho99o9. A good reason to escape the European rain and catch some Californian sun.

The Shrine’s Century Media debut, Rare Breed, came out in October 2015 (January 2016 in the US). Since then they played a 6-week tour with Kadavar and Horisont, followed by a massive run of summer festivals including Hellfest, Download, Graspop and many more.

Produced by Dave Jerden and recorded through the very amp that Greg Ginn recorded Black Flag's Damaged on, Rare Breed exists in a space that once was was bleeding with razor sharp lines separating punks, metal heads and hippies, where a violent clash in the parking lot of the Cuckoo's Nest was inevitable.
