Toronto Power Metal Fest 2016 Announced For August 12th, Featuring ASCENDIA, BOREALIS, DRAKARIUM, PYRAMID THEOREM

Toronto Power Metal Fest 2016 will take place on Friday, August 12th at Coalition T.O, featuring co-headliners Ascendia and Borealis of Toronto. Openers for this event will be Drakarium from Saguenay, Quebec, and Toronto's Pyramid Theorem.
Ascendia will perform their full 1-hour set from their upcoming appearance at ProgPower USA 2016, showcasing songs from their debut album, The Lion And The Jester, released in 2015. Ascendia have just released a new video for the track "Remember Me" from the album.
Borealis will be featuring songs from their third album, Purgatory, released in 2015. Borealis have previously performed on North American support tours with Evergrey, and Saxon, plus the band played at ProgPower Europe 2012 and ProgPowr USA 2010.
Drakarium will highlight their 2015 debut self-titled EP, released by Maple Metal Records last November. Drakarium play a similar power metal style like bands such as Stratovarius, and Sonata Arctica. A track from their Drakarium EP is streaming below.
Pyramid Theorem were finalists at Wacken Metal Battle Canada 2016, that took place in June. They will perform material from their debut album as well as showcasing some unheard material from their upcoming release, scheduled for later this fall.
