TWISTED SISTER’s DEE SNIDER To Bring Rock & Roll Christmas Tale To Toronto

Twisted Sister frontman, Dee Snider, debuted his Rock & Roll Christmas Tale on November 4th, 2014 in Chicago, IL at the Broadway Playhouse and will now be bringing the event to Toronto's Winter Garden Theatre later this year.

“Dee Snider's Rock & Roll Christmas Tale tells the story of Däisy Cütter, a heavy metal bar band looking to make it big even though the 80s are long over. This year, these four guys are ready to take the ultimate step and, in mythic rock tradition, sell their souls to the devil in exchange for success beyond their wildest metal dreams! But every time they try to seal the infernal pact, their head-banging anthems turn into warm-hearted carols. Soon these rockers are forced to realize their dreams of stardom are no match for the Christmas spirit. Dee Snider, infamous lead singer of Twisted Sister, has created a very funny, very rocking and (sshhh!) According to Sleaze Rox, Rock and Roll Ain't Dead - Dee Snider Essentials 1983-2015, is a new compilation that will feature music from all of singer Dee Snider's projects over the years including Twisted Sister, Widowmaker, Desperado, Van Helsing's Curse and Dee Does Broadway. The collection will include three brand new songs... Snider's first in over 20 years!
"My writing partner (and inspiration, really) is an amazing blues-rock guitarist named Nick Perri (Silvertide, Shinedown, Perry Farrell, Matt Sorum and more)," says Snider. "I will be dropping the first single, 'Rock And Roll Ain't Dead', on March 15, 2015 - my 60th birthday - and the album after that (age pun fully intended). There will be a video and a number of select solo shows in the spring and summer of 2015."Dee Snider's new solo band includes lead guitarist Nick Perri, guitarist Dan McCafferty (Dee Snider's SMFs, Dee Does Broadway), bassist Nicolai "Nosferatu" Nifoussi (Automatic 7) and drummer Joe Franco (Widowmaker, Van Helsing's Curse, Twisted Sister, Good Rats).
