Punishment 18 Records has announced that one of their own bands, Italian thrashers Ultra-Violence, has signed a brand new deal with Candlelight Records.

Ultra-Violence are a young thrash metal band from Turin, Italy, formed in the fall of 2009 as the brainchild of Loris Castiglia (vocals/guitars) and Andrea Vacchiotti (guitars). The lineup was completed in a short time by fellow school mates Roberto ''Robba'' Dimasi (bass) and Simone Verre (drums).

The band released the Wildcrash EP in 2012 via Punishment 18 Records, gaining some good recognition in the underground scene which increased expectations for their debut album Privilege To Overcome, released in 2013 via the same label. The album received positive approval from all over the world and was included in a large amount of magazines and websites as one of the best thrash metal albums of 2013.

After some live shows in northern Italy, with some metal legends like Jester Beast, M:Pire Of Evil, Necrodeath, Sacred Steel and Vicious Rumors, the band went abroad to headline the Ride Across The Spain mini-tour in 2013 and the European Hazard tour in 2014 with the young thrashers Game Over and Condition Critical.

They are currently engaged in the writing process of their second album. The band will enter the studio in December 2014 and the new album will be released in early 2015 via Candlelight Records.
