Due to frontman Michael Kiske coming down with the flu, UNISONIC were forced to cancel their scheduled German concerts in Langen (November 9th) and Ravensburg (November 10th) as the special guest of GOTTHARD. Kiske was fighting the symptoms of the illness for days, leading to the loss of his voice during the show in Hamburg last Sunday. His bandmate Kai Hansen spontaneously took over the lead vocals for the rest of the songs, so the band could finish their set.

In order to avoid a long term damage to his voice, the doctors instructed Michael to rest until his full recovery. The band hoped to be back on track for the shows in Bamberg and Munich.

Fan-filmed video from the band's November 16th show in Bamberg at the Stechert Arena, available below, shows that Kiske is back in fighting form:

Unisonic will perform in Munich, Germany tonight (November 17th) at the Zenith.
