UNTIL RAIN Part Ways With Lead Singer Yannis Papadopoulos

Anglo/Greek prog/power metal band, Until Rain, have parted ways with lead singer Yannis Papadopoulos.
Lefteris Germenlis (guitars) comments: “We are sad to announce that we are parting ways with our singer Yannis Papadopoulos.
We don’t want to go through all details, but the split comes as a mutual decision between the band and Yannis. We wish him all the best in his personal life and future career - maybe one day our paths will cross again and we can share the stage together. For now, we hold on to the good times and memories we have created all these years together.
Life goes on for both sides, and despite the unfortunate news, we are continuously working on our new album (as evidenced in the videos we have already published on Facebook) and we are very excited about it. For now, there is a vocal vacancy in Until Rain. If you would like to be part of the new album and join the family as the new frontman of Until Rain, please get in touch (until.rain@gmail.com). We're open to any ideas, as we like surprises - even if we do have some “candidates” for the slot.”
Until Rain has released two albums – The Reign Of Dreams from 2009 and Anthem To Creation from 2013, plus an EP Pandemic from 2009, and the band is currently writing the follow-up to last year’s album, which was followed by a European tour, taking them through most of the western European countries, as opening band for Andromeda and Damnation Angels.
