VOMIT FIST - Drum Tutorial Video For "A Public Execution"

Vomit Fist’s new EP, Forgive But Avenge, is out now. In the video below, 17-year-old drummer Leo “Lurkrot” Didkovsky performs "A Public Execution", showcasing how he combines both straight-time and melodic drum techniques while playing in odd meters.
Leo Didkovsky uses Pearl Export drums for gigs, and practices with Roland V-Drums at home. Didkovsky states, “Currently in Vomit Fist, we’re moving toward more vicious and noise-oriented riffs that act more as textures, like in our tune ‘Under The Rind’. We’re looking forward to writing and recording more material and hitting the road to support our new record Forgive But Avenge.”
Featuring raw, in-your-face sonics, Forgive But Avenge was recorded and engineered by Nik Chinboukas at Spin Studios (Lamb Of God, Testament). The tracks rip through themes of rebirth, apocalyptic chaos, ecstatic dermal auto-excoriation, and transgressive ancient tantric poetry.
