BLACK SHEEP frontman WILLIE BASSE has announced dates for first leg of his upcoming tour in December. Basse is touring in support of his new single, 'Break Away' featuring DOKKEN/LYNCH MOB guitarist George Lynch and SCORPIONS drummer James Kottak, on iTunes and all digital retailers.

“I'm excited to finally get back out on the road and play in front of my fans,” commented Willie Basse. “We’re going to play material from my solo album, as well as all the classic tracks from Black Sheep that fans haven't heard live in years. This is going to be a great rock show for any metal fan.”

Basse is best known for his role as bassist/frontman for legendary metalheads Black Sheep, who were mainstays on the Los Angeles Sunset Strip during the ‘80s metal explosion. The band, best known for their technical prowess and precision, has boasted members that include Slash, Paul Gilbert, James Kottak, Randy Castillo and Mitch Perry.

Black Sheep's debut album Trouble In The Streets turned 25 years old this November. To celebrate this milestone, band founder Willie Basse auctioned part ownership of the album with proceeds going to charity. The album features Paul Gilbert, was never issued on CD and seems to be a much sought after collector's item that fetches high prices for unopened vinyl on sites like eBay.
