80s metal pioneer WILLIE BASSE has helped raised $50,000 for Child Haven International, an organization that provides assistance to children who are in need of food, clothing, shelter and emotional support. The funds were raised at Basse's live debut in Farmington, NM and Hollywood, CA last weekend alongside former members of BLACK SABBATH.

"The shows last weekend were mind-blowing. Thank you for everyone that came out and showed their support at these shows," commented Basse."

Everyone at 92.9 KRWN In Farmington was awesome and they were playing Willie Basse every hour! We did an in-store and it was amazing to see all the people that came out and prove that classic metal will never die. We auctioned off signed Fender guitars for Child Haven and the money we helped raise was instrumental to them achieving their fund raising goals. We also got tons of live footage that we are compiling now and should have it ready and online in the next few weeks."

Basse has also released a new episode of his new reality TV series Rockstar Reality online featuring a candid interview with SPINAL TAP drummer Ric Parnell. Check it out below. The Rockstar Reality series offer fans a behind the scenes look at the day to day insanity of Willie Basse as he deals with his bandmates, immigration for his keyboard player, as well as greedy managers and booking agents while preparing for his impending world tour.

Willie Basse’s new album, The Money Grind, was released earlier this year through New Empire Media. He is currently writing new material for his upcoming new studio album, which will be produced by Andy Johns. The effort is slated for summer 2009 release through New Empire Media, which is gearing up for an action packed release schedule next year with a reissue of BLACK SHEEP's classic Sacrifice EP, Basse’s new reality TV series Rockstar Reality on DVD and a Rock For Recovery DVD which features concert footage of Black Sheep featuring Randy Castillo and MOTÖRHEAD slated for next year.
