WILLIE BASSE (ex-BLACK SHEEP) partners with Elan Entertainment, Roy Jones Jr. and Ervin EP Pope on new feature film Calligraphy.

The suspense-thriller written by Michael Gerald is now in pre-production and is expected to shoot in Panama late this summer with Willie Basse as Executive Producer.

The movie co-star's heavy-weight champion, Roy Jones Jr. (The Matrix Reloaded) and Patricia De Leon (former Miss Panama). A newlywed couple relocate to Los Angeles, they are invited to party. The parties introduce the unknowing couple to the steamy, passionate, and lust-filled lifestyle of the swinger’s scene. There are Basic Instinct style twists & turns that lead to a trail of murder and deceit. But as police detectives Ellis and Winters investigate the murders, they soon realize the events from the case closely parallel what's happening in Coral's (the husband's) unfinished movie script.

Super-Producer/Keyboardist, Ervin EP Pope (P. DIDDY, KANYE WEST, JAY-Z, THE GAME, SNOOP DOGG, Mission Impossible 3 soundtrack & themesong for Kanye West - Executive Producer, The Game Lax album) has signed on to produce the soundtrack and score the movie.

Basse has also signed on with Lane Productions to book his upcoming US tour which will begin later this summer. The agency currently books GARY HOEY, LEATHERWOLF and THE LOVE HAMMERS featuring singer Marty Casey amongst others.

Willie Basse is currently working with legendary producer Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, VAN HALEN, GODSMACK) on his sophomore album. The effort will surface through New Empire Media, which is also scheduling reissue of Black Sheep classics, ‘Trouble In The Streets’ and ‘Sacrifice’, Basse's new reality TV series Rockstar Reality and Rock For Recovery, a DVD which features concert footage of Black Sheep with MOTÖRHEAD.
