CHASTAIN - We Bleed Metal

Man, this is just some crushing heavy metal. Chastain has been around 32 years now and returned from a long hiatus in with 2013’s Surrender To No One with Leather Leone back for the attack. We Bleed Metal is the perfect title as this is bare bones, straight to the gut with thick sounding guitars, rowdy solos, and Leone’s unmistakable charismatic voice.

If you can’t fist pump to the title track or the stomping of “I Am A Warrior” then heavy metal just isn’t for you. We Bleed Metal almost never ceases with the razor sharp riffs to rip your head off like in “All Hail The King” and “Against All The Gods”. “Search Time For You” however slows things down with doomy goodness and the acoustic tinged “The Last One Alive” brings a refined approach that erupts into a bombast of machine gun riffs and beats. I wouldn’t blame you if you thought this was released in 1985 and that’s what’s make this album so impressive. This is heavy metal in its purest form and forgets all modernity and led by chief shredder David Chastain and Leather Leone, you can’t go wrong.
