ALICE IN CHAINS' long-awaited new album, Black Gives Way To Blue is set for release on Monday, September 28th on Parlophone Records in the UK, the 29th in North America via EMI.

Alice In Chains were one of the most influential and instantly recognizable rock acts of the 90s, selling over 17 million albums worldwide, but the tragic passing of original vocalist Layne Staley (RIP) in 2002 cast doubt over the future of the band. After founding members Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez and Sean Kinney reunited in 2005 for a benefit show, the band eventually made the decision to continue with new vocalist William DuVall, and in 2008 announced plans for a new album - their first in 14 years.

Check out this very special short film where Alice In Chains discusses their new album Black Gives Way To Blue.
