AC/DC Drummer In Dispute With Former Staff Of His Restaurant

According to Sunlive.co.nz, AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd is involved in an employment dispute with former staff of his Bridge Marina restaurant Phil’s Place.

Auckland-based employment law specialist Max Whitehead confirmed to SunLive that he is representing three applicants at a hearing over employment issues involving Phil’s Bridge Marina restaurant.

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment confirmed to SunLive an Employment Relations Authority hearing is set down in the Tauranga District Court on for November 19 and 20.

“The situation is in the midst of negotiation and I’m a bit apprehensive to give any information,” says Max.

“I will be in touch with the lawyers tomorrow and hopefully we will be able to discuss things in a more beneficial way.”

The issues are believed to be around the way the three employees were dismissed from the restaurant.
