DECAPITATED - Vocalist And Bassist Quit The Band

The following announcement has been posted on the official Empire Records website under the Massive Management banner:
"Right after the US and Canadian tour in November/ December, Martin (bass) and Covan (vocals) have parted ways with DECAPITATED."According to an unconfirmed posting on the Decapitated forum, Covan said on a Polish messenger that "the brake up had nothing to do with the guys in the band. He put it this way - 'Business and art never went hand with hand.' He said that it had to do with Earache. He wasn't too specific but mentioned that the Decapitated manager also has quit and that Vitek (drums) might do the same. That's about it."
The same unconfirmed report quotes Covan as saying, "Everything will be fine and to tell you guys not to worry. He mentioned that he really liked the new material and that it's a shame that things had to be done the way they have. And one more thing, he said was that this will be the last Decapitated album for Earache Records."
It's currently unclear whether Decapitated will still take part in the Annihilation Of The Wicked Tour 2006 with NILE, HYPOCRISY, SOILENT GREEN and RAGING SPEEDHORN.
