Knockout Festival To Take Place In December; POWERWOLF Headlines

Finally, some good news - organizers have decided to hold the Knockout Festival in 2021. Prior to the spread of Covid 19, the annual German festival was a staple of the pre-Christmas holiday concert schedule. In fact, it's the largest indoor metal fest in southern Germany. However, the event was last held in 2019.

With the postponement of Powerwolf's fall European tour, Knockout organizers wisely snapped up the band, offering the Wolves a chance to debut material from their new Call Of The Wild album, in Karlsruhe, on December 11. With all the inactivity within the scene, perhaps Powerwolf will ask a guest or two to add vocals, like they did on the bonus disc accompanying said platter. Eclipse, Mystic Prophecy and Orden Ogan were announced long ago (basically right after the last installment) and remain part of this year's bill. There will be two more bands added in the coming days. Find additional information at Knockout-Festival.de.
