Emotional journey, as Grim Reaper frontman Steve Grimmett (sporting a prosthetic leg, following January's amputation) performed live, for the first time since, defiantly standing, throwing the horns and gingerly moving about the stage (with the aid of a cane). Sure it was great psychological therapy, hats off Steve!
While there was just one lone artists traveling on a Canadian passport, Lee Aaron, (first return to Deutschland in 25 years), the Swiss triple guitar threat, Krokus opted to cover the Guess Who's "American Woman", as well as Neal Young's "Keep On Rockin' In The Free World". Despite a pouring rain, Dead Lord and Bullet were worth every raindrop. After Grim Reaper and Lee Aaron, there was Riot V, the triple vocalists of former Rage guitarist Victor Smolski's Almanac, Krokus, German institution Paragon, legendary Aussies Rose Tattoo and headliner, Vince Neil.
