DEEP PURPLE - Smoke On The Delaware River
September 11, 2018, 6 years ago
Kicking off with "Highway Star", the latest incarnation of the legendary Deep Purple stopped by the BB&T Pavillion, on the Camden, NJ waterfront, where they sampled all the classic eras, including "Pictures Of Home" (up second in the setlist!), "Lazy" and "Space Truckin" from the ‘70s, as well as "Perfect Strangers" and "Knocking At Your Back Door", from the late ‘80s reunion. No surprise, there were solo spotlights and the ubiquitous "Smoke On The Water". The band are on tour in the USA, through the end of the month, then on to Japan and Mexico, to round out 2018.
