ACID DRINKERS Win Four Fryderyki Awards

Polish hard rockers ACID DRINKERS walked off with no fewer than four awards confirming the commercial success of their album, Fishdick Zwei – The Dick Is Rising Again, which was released worldwide in 2010.
The band received the following Fryderyki Awards: -
- Band Of The Year- Metal Album Of The Year for Fishdick Zwei – The Dick Is Rising Again
- Single of The Year for ‘Love Shack’ taken from the album Fishdick Zwei – The Dick Is Rising Again
- Album Artwork Of The Year for Fishdick Zwei – The Dick Is Rising Again
DEZERTER received the Rock Album Of The Year award for their album, Prawo Do Bycia Idiota (The Right To Be An Idiot). GRZEGORZ TURNAU became the third Mystic Production artist to be presented with a Fryderyki on the night, receiving the Poetic Songs Album Of The Year for his 2010 album, Fabryka Klamek.
The Fryderyki Awards are award by the Polish Phonographic Academy. They are the Polish music industries equivalent of the UK’s The Brits or the US’s Grammy’s. This years Gala event was held on May 9th in Warsaw at Fabryka Trzciny.
