hot flashes news exodus

EXODUS frontman Rob Dukes has posted the following at the band's Forums:

"Back again in Japan and having a blast.

Watching Lee (Altus, guitar) play with HEATHEN was awesome, those guys are great and their new record is fucking killer, it's one the best albums I have heard this year. KREATOR were killer as usual, always like hanging with those guys, I'm looking forward to our South American tour together next week. It was my first time playing with TESTAMENT and it was fun watching those guys, and they are all cool to hang with.

Japan is one those exotic places that I love going too, the culture is amazing and everyone is so polite, and very professional. The crowds are great, they hang on every word that you say and are very quiet between songs, they almost never have mosh pits but for Exodus they went absolutely nuts, the crowd was so nuts they tore out the metal barriers so they could make the pit bigger, they politely handed them to security but the tore them out none the less, it was awesome. After the show I asked the promoter if that has ever happened before and he said never, not for any band.

The food is amazing in Japan, I had some of the best sushi I have ever had and Gary (Holt), myself and Big E our lighting guy ate crickets that I found in an outdoor market, they are crickets covered in a sugar coating, it was OK, it was teryaki beef jerky with legs and a head, having the legs in your teeth is a weird feeling but, we ate crickets, you only live once.

We landed in Taiwan late last night (September 21st) and have a day off to travel around and do some sight seeing... I will keep you posted."
