Greek melodic metal act FIREWIND have issued the following update:

"Regretfully Firewind will not be touring Mexico in February 2010.

Firewind would like to express their disappointment at not being able to meet their Mexican fans, and to play for them in February.

This is indeed very disappointing, we have been putting the dates together for sometime now, sadly our promoter let us down and we have had to pull the shows. On a good note, we will be returning to Mexico at a later date, so watch this space.”

As previously reported, guitarist Gus G. of Firewind, DREAM EVIL and OZZY OSBOURNE has been announced as a judge at the finals of Total Guitar's Guitar Wars. Gus will join the judges' table on the night of February 18th at Bristol's Mr. Wolf's music venue. Further details here.

Gus recently signed an endorsement deal with Blackstar Amplification. A press release reads as follows:
