Former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson sat down for an interview with The Cassius Morris Show to discuss his recent sex scandal, falling out with Megadeth, current relationship with Dave Mustaine, and many more exclusives. Check it out below.

Ellefson on his new band, The Lucid

"Things are getting busy. It's nice. It's funny with that record because that was a record I thought I'd have to nestle in somewhere around other stuff going on. It turns out it happened to be one that people really like. It's getting a lot of attention and it's getting some traction. Sometimes it's the one.... maybe not with that intention it starts to pop. It's kinda fun to have one of those."

Ellefson, vocalist Vinnie Dombroski, guitarist Drew Fortier, and drummer Mike Heller recently announced their self-titled debut album, The Lucid. The album, released on October 15 via SpoilerHead Records, features nine heavy-hitting and emotionally charged tracks showcasing the eclectic quartet's unique sonic approach.

Bassist David Ellefson states, "It's been a real blast making a record with these guys and I must say that it’s refreshing to explore some new musical avenues... to step out a bit from what each of us have done stylistically in our own careers. The album was produced by Mike Heller and mixed/mastered by Lasse Lammert.
