K.K. DOWNING Talks Making Of KK'S PRIEST Debut - "The Whole Album Is Full Of A Lot Of Emotions; Every Song Has A Story Behind It"

YesterdazeNews caught up with former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing, who discussed his initial claim that he wasn't sure if he had another musical project in him. Downing also discusses the KK's Priest debut album, explains where he stands with the Judas Priest today, and talks moving forward with his new band.

On the KK's Priest debut, Sermons Of The Sinner

Downing: "The whole album is full of a lot of emotions and sentiment. It's everything, really. It was very eas yfor me to think of something I wanted to portray in the songs. That made it very easy to put the songs together and that's why it flowed really fast. Every song has a meaning and a story behind it. I knew how I wanted the record to sound - organic drums, guitars that aren't over-saturated - and that came pretty easy, really."

KK's Priest, the new project from former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing, have announced their debut album, Sermons Of The Sinner. Pre-order / pre-save options are now available here. An exclusive autographed limited edition silver vinyl LP version with bonus CD is available.

Downing: "We are delighted to finally be able to release our first track to the world. It gives a real flavour of the sound and showcases the amazing players I've got in this band. We can't wait for the fans to hear the record."
