According to posting on the MySpace page for the legendary hardcore/punk band MDC (MILLIONS OF DEAD COPS), the group's former bassist Mikey "Offender" Donaldson passed away in his sleep on September 22nd in Barcelona, Spain where he had recently relocated from Amsterdam. The cause is unknown at the moment. He was 46.
Mikey Donaldson was the bass player for Austin punk band THE OFFENDERS from 1978 to 1986. He recorded bass tracks on MDC's groundbreaking effort Millions Of Dead Cops and D.R.I.'s“Dealing With It as well as played and recorded with Gary Floyd (DICKS) and Lynn Perko (IMPERIAL TEEN) in SISTER DOUBLE HAPPINESS.
