PHIL ANSELMO Says His New Solo Album Is A "Different Extreme"

While he continues to work on a series of EPs with DOWN, singer Phil Anselmo is putting the finishing touches to his upcoming solo album.
He tells Artisan News: "I took every bit of heavy metal tradition and if it's in my blood it's there. I took everything I knew - like a lump of clay - smashed it and reformed it and studied it. I can't wait for people to hear it and for the feedback. It's a different extreme… It's coming. I have a couple of mixes to go."
