Long-running Danish rockers PRETTY MAIDS have enlisted former KING DIAMOND bassist Hal Patino.

Says the band: "Hal Patino has been a friend of the band since the eighties, and is familiar with the sound, style and history of the band, and was therefore a natural choice to take the spot as the new bass player.

Hal Patino will play his first gig with Pretty Maids on Saturday, May 8th of in Aalborg, Denmark, and we welcome Hal onboard, and hope you all will give him a good reception on the upcoming Pandemonium tour. And, oh yeah... 10 days!"

Pretty Maids recently finished shooting the video for the single 'Little Drops Of Heaven', under the direction of Thomas Tjader (SAINT DEAMON), taken from the forthcoming Pandemonium album. Check out the clip below.

Pandemonium, will be released on May 14th in Europe, and June 8th in North America via Frontiers.

Produced by Jacob Hansen (who has also worked with VOLBEAT, ROB ROCK, BEYOND TWILIGHT), Pandemonium with its melodic approach is a definite return to the Future World / Red Hot And Heavy era of the eighties, but with an updated sound and freshness that consolidates that Pretty Maids are as strong as ever.

“I think this new record shows the band in it's finest moment”, says singer Ronnie Atkins. “That’s definitely our best effort in many years and the spirit in the band is higher than ever”.
