Toronto's REVOLVER has issued the following update:

"Hi everyone things have been brewing here in our camp and wanted to give you an update, first of all we hope that everyone had a great summer. We've been working on completing our next studio release and have just released our new single 'Wasteland' that is available to listen and/or purchase on our website Revolvertv.com and iTunes.

We had an amazing summer playing some shows and we're gearing up for autumn in Canada and looking forward to Europe in 2011. Everything is lining up and we're ready to unleash some more of our new songs to radio and online very shortly.

A new interview with vocalist Nick Walsh, courtesy of The Cambridge Times, can be read here.

In other news, Revolver is helping a young girl in need with the Kisses For Haley initiative. Haley is 10 years old and was diagnosed with a rare brain injury called Arteriovenous Malformation on January 26th. Doctors in Canada do not have the skill set to help her but the Mayo Clinic in the United States has a team of 50 neurosurgeons, vascular surgeons and pediatric surgeons who all specialize in Brain AVMS. Revolver's goal is to raise enough money with the download of their song 'Blue Sky' to send Haley on her way to get some help.

All you have to do is download the 'Blue Sky' song for $0.99. The goal is to reach 10,000 paid downloads of 'Blue Sky' by October 31st, 2010 in an effort to raise money for Haley's initial visit to the Mayo Clinic in the United States. Purchase the download at this location.

Donations can also be made online. All proceeds going to the 'Kisses for Haley c/o The Daisy Foundation - Charity #893611228'
