Greek old-school thrash assassins SUICIDAL ANGELS have posted the following message:

"We regret to inform you that due to undisclosed (still) reasons, the Darkest Summer Night festival in Xalkida, Greece is cancelled. We were really looking forward to this show as we enjoy playing outside Athens as much as anywhere else! We want to apologize to all our fans and friends who wanted to join us on that show and we're also sorry that we'll miss a chance to share the stage with such great greek bands and of course MOONSPELL!!!

Our next show will be as headliners on the second day of the Schoolwave festival in Athens on the 3rd of July. So we're eager to see everyone there and excited to be part of a most respected music festival."

Suicidal Angels' new full-length, Sanctify The Darkness, will see it's North American release on Sonic Unyon Metal in mere weeks.

Already released across Europe on Nuclear Blast in November of 2009, the album will see official release in North America on June 22nd, and will mark Suicidal Angels' first official North American release, versus being imported from Europe on previous releases.

The band's solid, no-bullshit attack has already reaped massive press and fan response across much of the world, and the crunchy, hellish riff attacks on the eleven meaty tracks composing Sanctify The Darkness will now attack the Americas, who are always prime for a pungent new thrash unit to infiltrate and go on the rampage.
