Vincent Hyde, bassist for THE DEFILED from London, is performing double-duty on the band’s current maiden tour of the US. His opening set is with his bandmates in The Defiled and his second set is with Hide Your Morals tour headliners DAVEY SUICIDE.

“I had about half a day to learn Davey's set,” states Hyde from somewhere in Texas en route to Austin. “There’s nothing preventative I do to avoid getting things like tendonitis or carpal tunnel. In my opinion, there's no fun in playing it too safe - although the only thing I do avoid is having a guitar or a keyboard impale me! While I’m not really a fan of current bands covering other current bands’ tunes, if there was one song I could pick off our new Daggers album for Davey to perform, it would be ‘Infected.’”

The Defiled will release their second album, Daggers, on August 2nd via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Recorded in Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with acclaimed sonic guru Jason Suecof, Daggers sees the band at the top of their game, with their most powerful and infectious songs so far.
