I think I’m going to keep this review short and simple because, well….it’s Coheed And Cambria. This band seems to have the total package. They have enough metal in their veins to please the most diehard metal fans, they have the classic rock sounds of Pink Floyd & Led Zeppelin with plenty of tongue in cheek references to go along. The prog-rock powerhouse is the perfect amount of prog, metal and radio rock to keep the comic book types, the chest beaters and everyone in between, all begging for more. These guys improve, like a fine whisky, with age. The newest release, The Color Before The Sun, shows the true musicianship that these four guys have with one another and sets the bar for all other young prog rock bands.
