CRADLE OF FILTH Tortures Charlotte!
February 5, 2016, 8 years ago
On the opening night on their 2016 North American tour, Cradle Of Filth have brought along a couple of heavy hitters with them to support their new album, Hammer Of The Witches. Along for the trip are Butcher Babies who are out to prove that ladies of metal can most definitely put most if not all major metal touring acts to shame with their extremely intense and energetic live show and Ne Obliviscaris who are an absolute roller coaster of a sound and virtuosos at their craft. On the first night of the tour the guys let the local Charlotte band, Black Ritual, warm up the crowd with their fresh sound of groove heavy riffs and thunderous rhythm section that is making its way to the top of the south east metal scene. Then we have the main course of filth itself.
Cradle Of Filth play primarily classic fan favorites with a handful of new music that really show that this band sticks to their basics. They were spot on with every song and never skipped a beat with one of the best stage sounds I've heard in a long time, and keep in mind this was the opening night. They were working out all the bugs and and just warming up and still kicked everyone's ass. This tour is a must when it comes to your town. A mixture of all types of metal for those of you who just like good music throughout all the sub genres.
