GHOST – Popestar Reigns In Montreal!

Ghost returned to Montreal on November 11th at the Metropolis almost exactly a year after their last stop in the city. Not sure about the choice of Marissa Nadler as an opener. Much closer to Chelsea Wolfe than Ghost; she had a hard time warming the venue with her ambient set. Ghost always puts on a very impressive show and this time was no exception. Everyone was invited to the church once more with a nice stage set, slightly different from last time. The setlist covered all three albums up to the recent “Square Hammer” from the Popestar EP. The recipe works well, but what will they find for the next tour?
