Things just can’t remain calm in the Motörhead camp. The loudest band in the world navigated rough waters during their US tour in the summer as frontman Lemmy Kilmister battled health issues which forced the cancelation and shortening of a few shows. Now touring Europe, guitarist Phil Campbell was afflicted with an illness which required hospitalization and also a cancelation of shows in Berlin and Hamburg in late November. Those dates have been rescheduled for this month fortunately.

Motörhead never stops running though and they were back at it last night (December 1st) in Gothenburg, Sweden with Campbell back for the attack playing only one song from the new release, Bad Magic, but of course of mixture of the classics “Ace Of Spades” and “Overkill”. UK heavy metal legends Saxon were on hand for support.

After last night’s Gothenburg assault, the Official Motörhead twitter read: “Gothenburg rocked it, Motörhead rocked it, Philip Anthony Campbell double rocked it & the tour is alive & kicking in high gear again!”

The band’s setlist was as follows:

“Bomber”
“Stay Clean”
“Metropolis”
“When The Sky Comes Looking For You”
“Over The Top”
Guitar Solo
“The Chase Is Better Than The Catch”
“Lost Woman Blues”
“Orgasmatron”
“Doctor Rock”
“Just ‘Cos You Got The Power”
“No Class”
“Ace Of Spades”

Encore
“Whorehouse Blues”
“Overkill”
