September 2, 2016, 8 years ago
Last weekend, members of Danish metallers Volbeat visited the Bright Eyes Dog Rescue in Regina, Saskatchewan and offered up touching puppy support towards this fine organization that relies solely on donations. Check out photos from the charity shoot above.
The band remarked: "Thank you Bright Eyes Dog Rescue for everything you do for these wonderful animals. It was so much fun having these pups visit us at our show. Everyone should head over to Brighteyesdogrescue.com and check out all of the great work they are doing for these pups."
About BEDR:
"Bright Eyes Dog Rescue (BEDR) officially became a reality January 2010. We are a registered non-profit charity, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned, injured, neglected, and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the overpopulation of pets by making sure each and every puppy, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. We get no funding from any levels of government. Our funding comes from donations and fundraising initiatives."
