100 Red Balloons Honor Victims Of GREAT WHITE Fire Tragedy

According to The Detroit News, survivors of one of the nation's worst nightclub fires and the families of those killed marked the eighth anniversary of the tragedy Sunday with a short speech and a prayer, followed by the release of 100 red balloons - one for each victim of the blaze.

On February 20, 2003, a fire, started by a pyrotechnics display during a set by the 1980s rock band GREAT WHITE, ripped through The Station nightclub, killing 100 people and injuring more than 200.
