Absent Documentary Featuring METALLICA's James Hetfield - Pre-Sale Announced

RockvilleMusicMagazine.com reports that Absent, the documentary feature film directed by Justin Hunt and featuring METALLICA frontman James Hetfield, is available for pre-sale, starting today at this location. The film will be released on DVD September 5th.
The DVD features the full length documentary with bonus features including the Q and A sessions of Hetfield and Hunt from screenings in San Rafael, CA and Mesa, AZ. Also included is Hetfield and Hunt's appearance on Fox News Network's Fox And Friends, and a special announcement from boxer, Johnny Tapia made at the world premiere screening of Absent.
Filmmaker Justin Hunt will autograph the first 2500 DVD's sold.
According to RockvilleMusicMagazine.com: “Absent explores the devastation being caused, on a global scale, by the growing disengagement of fathers. This thought-provoking documentary digs deep into the issue of fatherlessness and the overwhelming need for change.
Virgil Hetfield attempted to reconnect with James later in his life and was filmed in a brief interview for 1992's Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica, a two part documentary about the making of the album Metallica (or The Black Album).”
