April 15, 2011, 13 years ago
Nearly one month before the worldwide launch, the Argentinian radio program Cuál Es? and Sony Music organized an exclusive AC/DC: Live At River Plate premiere. There were only 700 fans invited to see an exclusive screening on a giant screen of the film that will be released on Tuesday, May 10th on DVD, Blu-Ray and Ltd Edition collector’s edition with exclusive t-shirt.
Pablo Zinola from Buenos Aires, Argentina-based Fmrockandpop.com attended the raucous event and filed the following report for BraveWords.com:
The fact that the Black Ice Tour was filmed in Buenos Aires is something with no comparison, at least for the local fans. The show includes four songs of the last album and also a great amount of classics, all presented with great visual art. It begins with a comic where it can be seen Angus trying to stop a train and then the engine shows up on the stage. Later you can see the giant bells, thunders, canons and even the famous Rosie."
