Some rock fans are still fuming over the sale of AC/DC tickets on the weekend. A quick sellout combined with online logjams and greedy ticket scalpers left many people out of luck.

But where to place the blame remains unclear.

"There are going to be disappointments regardless of what system you use," says Ken Wood, the Executive Director of Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon.

He says CUC is essentially Ticketmaster in this province, in that they "manifest" events and provide tickets based on instructions from the artists and promoters.

The Regina tickets went on sale at the same time as concerts in Edmonton and Winnipeg. Wood suggests that may have caused the internet backlogs that left many fans frustrated.

"The promoter, LiveNation, coordinated that on-sale time for the three stadiums," Wood says. "Whether that could be reviewed to see if there could be some kind of stagger to avoid the slowdown on the internet, you know, I don't have the technical background on that."
