AEROSMITH Guitarist "Is OK And Already Back Home" Says Son

As reported on Thursday, a 62-year-old woman driving a car hit AEROSMITH lead guitarist Joe Perry as he rode his 2009 Ducati Monster 696 in his native Massachusetts. Perry was treated at a hospital for minor injuries. Both drivers were travelling at a low speed and the woman was cited for following too closely according to police.
"Just found out my dad is ok and already back home," his son Tony Perry wrote on his Twitter page. "He was hit from behind on the motorcycle and the lady was not going very fast. Also my brother Aaron was on his bike at the scene of the accident. He is also ok and was not hit by the car."
