The artwork and pre-order details for AEROSMITH's new single 'Legendary Child', has been released. Originally written during the sessions for the band's album, Get A Grip, the single will be included on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie GI Joe: Retaliation, which hits theaters on June 29th, as well as the band's long-awaited new studio album, Music From Another Dimension, due out on August 28th. Columbia will issue the digital version of 'Legendary Child' on May 29th. Check out the single art and an Amazon pre-order below:

Yesterday (May 23rd), bassist Tom Hamilton checked in from Vindaloo to talk with AF1 about the band's new album.

"All right, the record's being mixed," Hamilton revealed. "We're getting ready to put this thing out. Actually the record is not coming out in its entirety until September, but we're going to feed you little chunks of it until now and then. We're at the end phase out in Los Angeles, Steven (Tyler) is putting his voice on everything, Joe (Perry) is working on his final leads. A few more songs came along while we were out there."

Aerosmith is working with their long-time producer Jack Douglas, who worked on such classic Aerosmith albums as 1974's Get Your Wings, 1975's Toys In The Attic and 1976's Rocks, as well as the band's 2004 collection of blues standards, Honkin' On Bobo. Other new song titles include 'Beautiful' and 'Out Go The Lights'.

Aerosmith hit the road in June on the Global Warming Tour which will feature CHEAP TRICK. Dates include:
