Legendary Boston rockers AEROSMITH closed the UK's Download Festival last night (June 13th) with a headlining set in front of 100,000 people at Donington Park. Guitarist Joe Perry called Steven Tyler "the best lead singer on the planet" during the band's 17-song set. Kicking off with their 1989 hit 'Love In An Elevator', Tyler sang much of the song from a walkway that jutted out into the crowd. The singer later shouted: "Britain, did you miss us? to massive cheers from the audience.
