VEX singer Orlando Logan Perez (AGAINST THE PLAGUES) will make his live debut with the band on June 26th in Austin, TX at Red Seven. Also on the bill are ORIGIN, ABYSMAL DAWN and MISERY INDEX.

For the past decade, Vex have made their presence known throughout the underground metal community, especially in their home state, of Texas. Now, getting ready to release their full-length album, Thanatopsis on AethenA Records, Vex has decided to treat fans with a debut performance with the addition of two new members, Mike E.D. on guitars and Orlando Logan Perez of Against The Plagues on lead vocals..

Orlando Logan Perez had this to say: "To merely say that we are "excited" about this event would be an understatement. We all feel it to be a milestone as if it were the dawning of a new chapter written in a book of Vex history.

Yes, I suppose that I must to resort to cheesiness because that is how important this show will be for us; .

For, the first time, Mike and myself will be joining Vex on stage and presenting the new energy to old fans and new faces, alike. Indeed, there is much anxiety and anticipation in regards to this performance. Although, it won’t be a very long set, it will give fans a preview of what’s to come in the near future.

After a couple of rehearsals, everything is sounding alive and amazing with Mike on 2nd guitar. I am also wanting to give “metal props” to Vex guitarist, Ciaran who’s playing with his side band , NOSFERION the night before.

Also, the Vex drummer Owen who will be performing with BATCASTLE as well on the same bill. It’s going to be an intense weekend for the Aethena family.

Friday will be the first “unofficial” Aethena Records showcase featuring Nosferion and Enemy Of Mankind. Then the day after, Vex will be representing Aethena records and performing alongside three great bands Origin, Abysmal Dawn, and Misery Index in Austin, TX.
