After taking 2020 off for COVID-19, Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding came back strong in 2021 with its most successful benefit to date, raising about $660,000 for Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Centers, reports AZCentral.

"Every year, we break our record," Alice says.

It may have helped that this year's host and auctioneer Adam Christing inspired a heated, hilarious bidding war on a Cooper mosaic made from 5,000 guitar picks.

"I asked the artist, 'So this is what you did during lockdown?'" Alice recalls with a laugh.

The mosaic ended up selling for $120,000, by far the biggest-ticket item of the night. The auction is always a huge part of the Christmas Pudding total.

"You can sell as many tickets as you want," Alice says. "But the overhead, after paying insurance and getting security and all that, the show kind of almost breaks even. It's the auction and the donations that really add up."

An additional $20,000 to $30,000 of that total came in after Pudding.
