Sweden's AMON AMARTH is launching their very own interactive fan club, called Mobile Backstage, for smartphones, Facebook and for the web.

"This will allow us to have a more direct communication with our fans, and will speed up the information process for everything such as news and tour dates, as well as give our fans some special peeks behind the scenes of future tours and festivals," says Johan Hegg.

"When we first thought of creating our own app, we pretty soon realized that the mobile backstage solution was the right thing for us. It's a combination of mobile and Facebook apps and a web interface that creates a digital fan club and allows us to reach all our fans no matter where they are," says Fredrik Andersson.

"We're very excited to bring Mobile Backstage to Amon Amarth," said Paavo Bäckman, the CEO of Mobile Backstage.

With Mobile Backstage, Amon Amarth and their fans can exchange news, pictures, videos, audio clips and messages in an intimate and personal environment, far from the noise and clutter of other social media. Fans can send messages to other fans, find and check into gigs, see the location of other fans and their online posts, play audio, and purchase tracks and tickets.

Join AAmon Amarth Mobile Backstage now – on the web, Facebook app and mobile devices.
