On last weekend's Whittier, CA date of the 28 Days Latour, Detroit deathcore act AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH were sadly unable to unleash their brand of Murder City mayhem as they normally do because the show was shut down by the police before the band had even played a note. "A local band started playing and at some point during their set, the cops came in shut the show down;" said And Hell Followed With guitarist, Kyle McIlmurray. "We think it had to do something about the venue not having an entertainment permit, but we like to joke that it was because the show was too heavy for the place to handle."

Saturday's show, originally slated to be held in a different venue at a nearby location was moved due to the original venue's sudden closing. Despite the circumstances, Kyle and the rest of his band seemed to take it all as a very pleasant experience. "It was good to be hanging around such professionals. The promoter was cool about it all and took care of us and once everything was handled, we were just stoked to be able to hang around Hollywood with the other bands. They're all good guys so it was a fun night out. We all just went and made the best of it with them."

This tour marks And Hell Followed With's first trek with new vocalist, Ryan Caudill. Formerly of a Michigan-based act called BORLAND, Caudill replaces Nick Holland, who decided to further commit himself to his college studies. For the newly inducted vocalist, the whole experience has thus far been a daze, having dealt with little time to learn the material before going out on tour. However Ryan insists that the hard work is worth it: "It's been a lot of work but we're finally on the road and performing. Last night was my first show and it went great. There were some big shoes to fill following up Nick's great talent, but the band and myself all have confidence in the sound!"

And Hell Followed With are releasing their Josh Wichman-produced EARACHE debut, Proprioception (featuring art by GODMACHINE) in North America on June 29th. Pre-order it along with some killer shirts and special merch bundles at this location or via the Amazon link below.
