ARCH ENEMY vocalist Angela Gossow has issued the following update:

"Me and my grrrrrl friend Hadass had a passionate discussion about feminism. She actually decided to print it in her current issue of Fallopian Falafel.com You can download the entire magazine here ."

Following is a description of the publication issued by editor-in-chief Hadass Ben-Ari:

"Fallopian Falafel is a non-profit, Jerusalem-based feminist zine established in May, 2007. It deals with feminism in Israel, in all its forms of expression (third-wave, riot grrrl, religious movements, etc.), and it aims to spread awareness about the ongoing need for feminism to the Israeli public. It is worth noting that despite its secular leftist nature, the zine is neither anti-religious nor anti-Zionist.

Issue 5 - Special Issue on Beauty is now published. It features poems about beauty, and article on the factors that may affect body image, a piece on body art, a discussion with Arch Enemy's vocalist Angela Gossow, a study of two different girl camps and the impact they have on the campers' self-esteem, and much more. Check out some excerpts and scans, or order or download it.
