ARCH ENEMY - Summer Breeze And Brutal Assault Festival Recaps Available

ARCH ENEMY vocalist Angela Gossow has issued the following update on the band's recent appearances at the Summer Breeze and Brutal Assault festivals
"Summer Breeze in lovely Dinkelsbuehl, Bavaria was fun, although playing in day light takes a lot of atmosphere away.. also the conglomeration of boys suffering from severe puberty syndrome shouting sexist bullshit - i felt kinda embarassed for my home country Germany there. That shit has never happened to me all these years anywhere else. A bit like being back in kindergarden.. a shame. On a positive note, we had an awesome response, people singing along, circle pits and even a Wall Of Death - I just hope nobody got seriously hurt in there. I am not really for that kind of thing, I believe it's too risky. I def wouldnt wanna get in there. I like my bones in one piece.The idiot at the signing session asking me to sign his dick got punched in the face and then covered in beer by the Arch Enemy boyz - I hope he got the message. Everybody else was lovely and respectful - so no hard feelings ;-)
Brutal Assault in Czech Republik - it was cold, rainy and depressingly grey every where. What a shame for the visitors! They stood tall though and we hit the stage 20:15 and had a fantastic show! It was our first time in this country, but most certainly not the last! These people love their metal. We had a great sound, great light design and a pure fucking metal audience
For Arch Enemy, the summer festival season is over now. In case you got a crush on Michael or Daniel or CARCASS in general, you shouldnt miss them at the Hole In The Sky festival or at the Loud From The South festival.. or any of the shows during their upcoming extensive tours this fall and winter!
