AYREON Mastermind Arjen Lucassen At Work On New Project With ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN

AYREON mastermind Arjen Lucassen recently hinted at a new project he's been working on, and has now checked in with the following update:
"Time has come to finally disclose my new project... it will be a collaboration between my favorite female singer Anneke van Giersbergen (THE GATHERING) and me! Expect an epic concept double album, a combination of ‘classical meets metal’ and ‘acoustic folk’. More details later!"
Anneke Van Giersbergen states: "Yesch!! I'll be teaming up with the one and only Arjen Lucassen for a concept double album! It will be the two of us, a fabulous overall theme and everything between very loud and pure acoustic. This will be something special!"
