BILL WARD has revealed that his next solo album will be a "dark" piece of work.
Speaking to Gigwise.com, the BLACK SABBATH drummer said that he wants to release his third solo effort - known as Beyond Aston at the moment - later in the year.
The musician explained that the record has been influenced by the Black Sabbath world tour of 2006, which inspired him to write "real loud cool stuff" when he returned from being on the road.
He added: "So that's what this is, this is a result of some of the more powerful music, a lot of really big chords and a lot of dark notes."
